Trekking in Nepal Himalaya, in every sense of the word is an uplifting and enriching experience.

Trekking is the best way to know and experience the himalayan kingdom. Trekking allows you to literally feel and observe the natural richness and cultural beauty of this splendid country, up-close and personally.

Nepal is open for trekking throughout the year, but it is usually best recommended during Spring (March, April, May) and Autumn (September, October, November) seasons. There are no age limits and physical requirements for trekking in Nepal. The availability of wide range of choices and trekking routes in Nepal means people of all age groups and physical fitness, from elderly to kids, can enjoy Nepal trekking.

Some of the popular treks in Nepal are Everest Trek , Annapurna Trek, Langtang Trek that can be done in all seasons and by all age groups and trek duration ranges from short to multiple days. These trekking routes have sufficient lodges and guest houses to accommodate. Similarly, Kanchenjunga, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Makalu, Dolpo, Mustang, Ganesh Himal belong to the the category of Adventurous/Wilderness Treks. These treks are of longer duration and are a mix of lodge based and camping styles.

For those who have limited time in their hands can opt for Easy and Short trekking routes such as Shivapuri, Nagarkot, Helambu, Royal Trek, Sikles etc. There are also recently opened new trekking routes which will lead you into areas that are still untouched by time and modernity. Some of the new trekking trails include Tamang Heritage Trek, Tsum Valley, Ruby Valley, Pikey Peak Trek, Ganga Jamuna Trek, Nar and Phu etc., that offer a mosaic experience of pristine culture, adventure and local hospitality.
