After reaching there you will trek from Phaplu to Manidingma (Nunthala, 2200m.) which takes approximately seven hours. Phaplu is a small Himalayan town with an airstrip. You then incline towards Takshindo Gompa. After descending from here you will reach Manidingma (Nunthala). You can visit the old cheese factory at Takshindo. Stay overnight at lodge.
You will start your trek with a gentle descent towards the Dudh Koshi River (Milk River) for nearly two hour passing through agricultural pastures and a small Sherpa and Rai villages. From the Dudh Koshi river you will elevate all the way to Kharikhola (2050m.) passing through Juving (1680m.) a quite a dense Rai village and farm lands. From Kharikhola you will have a gentle walk for 45 minutes and then proceeds steeply up to the camp (Bupsa) where you can see an antique Buddhist Monastery in a ruined state. Stay overnight at lodge.
You will start your trek with a steep ascend for nearly two hours towards Khari La Pass (2880m.). You will pass through rhododendron and oak forest with a small Sherpa settlement and tea shops. It is a remarkable view point from where you can see the magnificent views of Numbu (6960m.), Cho-Oyu (8201m.), Gyangchung Kang (7922m.) and Thamserku (6629m.). From here you will gently descent towards Chaubar (2730m.), passing through Bamboo forest and Puiyan (2770m.) viewing the Khumbu Valley as well as beautiful mountains. You will reach Surkey in the evening which is a beautiful Sherpa village at the bottom of Lukla. Stay overnight at lodge.
The first part of the trek is a gentle ascent for early 2 hours to Chipling (2700m.), a junction road to Jiri and Lukla passing through Mushe (2650m.). From this place, the road is quite broad and busy. Now, your trail is almost flat with a gentle descent and then ascent to Phakding. This is a short trek after 3 long days trekking. You can hang in and around Phakding village. Stay overnight at lodge.
Namche Bazaar (3440m) is a beautiful Himalayan village located on the lap of mountain and at the bank of pristine Bhote Koshi River. Stay overnight at lodge.
You can have a saunter around the village on this day before heading towards Tyangboche. You can walk up to Khumjung and visit a monastery. You can also enjoy the splendid views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse, Tawoche, and Kwangde. You may also take an hour's walk up to Syangboche (3800m.) where Everest View Hotel is situated above Namche for an outstanding view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku and Kusum Kangaru. As you incline towards the forested zone you will witness the magnificent views of mountain range. You continue your walk towards the face of the mountain and eventually you will enter Tyangboche (3860m) from the stone gate built by lamas. Stay overnight at lodge.
Dingboche is a beautifully established village with naturally carved cropping fields enclosed by stone walls for protecting the crops & vegetables from the rage of the wind and grazing animals. Stay overnight at lodge.
You can have splendid views of the North face of Ama Dablam and the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge as you explore this beautiful valley that leads up to Island Peak. You can have a short stroll and rest in the afternoon. You can also hike up to Chhukum from where you can enjoy the breathtaking views of Island peak, Ama Dablam, Makalu, Tawoche and many other mountain ranges. Stay overnight at lodge.
Nearly after 50 mins of walk you will reach a Mani-prayer Stupa. From there you will trek downwards to Pheriche village. You will have a chance to see the panoramic views of Mt.Tawache, Ama Dablam and to the north-Pokalde (5741m), Kongma-tse (5820m) and the great wall of Nuptse. Nearly after two hours of long walk, you will merge the walking path near Dugla (4595m) before a small wooden bridge over the river of Khumbu glacier. Stay overnight at lodge.
You will elevate the valley through path formed by glacier debris watching the frozen ponds and icebergs below the Khumbu glacier. Gorakshep is the location of the original Everest Base Camp with the new camp being further up the valley. You will elevate from the rocky path and the Khumbu glacier. The view of Nuptse, Lho-La and Khumbutse appears right before your eyes. Stay overnight at lodge.
You will start climbing towards Kala Patthar (5545m.) early in the morning and enjoy the view of sunrise in the evening upon your reach. From Kala Patthar you can have a close up view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, and Mt. Thamserku along with many other peaks. You can see the yaks in this area. Stay overnight at lodge.
Tyangboche is a wonderful human settlement with many monasteries. From this place you can have superb views of Ama Dablam, lush green hills and flowing river. Stay overnight at lodge.
The walk from Tyangboche is mostly downhill on the main busy trail with a few steep climbs for an hour from the bridge at Phungitenga, near Shanasha. The walk to Namche is very scenic on a long winding path. En route you will visit traditional villages of Khumjung and Khunde. From Khumjung village another 30 minute walk brings you to the village of Khunde. Stay overnight at lodge.
The last day of your trek leads from Namche Bazaar via Monjo to Lukla. The trek is pleasant, except for few short uphill climbs and then down to the Bhote- Koshi River crossing it three times. The last uphill climb of 45 minutes will bring you to Lukla for your overnight stay.
You will board an early morning flight back to Kathmandu.
