Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi via Trishuli (Nuwakot) which takes about eight hours. You head north out of Kathmandu driving through scenic foothills and ridgeline vistas to Syabru Besi passing through Dhunche.

Trek from Syabrubesi to Gatlang via Goljung which takes about six hours. While trekking you pass through Tamang villages with Langtang peaks on the backdrop. The Tamang culture show at Goljung and Gatlang will be a memorable experience. Gatlang is set high on a hillside among terraced fields and is at a short walking distance from Tamang monastery and beautiful Choddingmo Lake.

Trek from Gatlang to Tatopani takes about six hours. On the way you enjoy splendid panorama of Langtang and Ganesh Himal. Tatopani once hosted a natural hot spring which dried up after 2015 earthquake.

Trek from Thuman to Timure takes about five hours. The historical fort of Rasuwagadhi lies along Nepal –China (Tibet) border. Timure falls on ancient trade route between Nepal and Tibet.

Trek from Timure to Briddim takes about six hours. Today the trail is longer and is a bit rugged. Briddim is one of the most beautiful villages located on the bosom of Langtang Himal.
At Briddim you can experience rich Buddhist culture of Tamang and Tibetan. There are around 43 houses with roofs made of distinctive stone slates. You can enjoy homestay with local family.
Trek from Briddim to Lama Hotel takes about six hours. The path is relatively easy with much portion going downhill. Reaching Lama Hotel, you discover that it is located on the banks of the Langtang River and surrounded by lush forests and mountains.

Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang is quite mesmerizing especially because of the beautiful views of the Langtang range. You can also learn about Tibetan culture and lifestyle.

This day you can see the glaciated valley of Kyangjin on the lap of Langtang Lirung enclosed by snowy mountains.

Rest day at Kyangjin Gompa and excursion in and around the area. You can visit the monastery and the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung. You will also ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m), directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks.

From Kyangjin you retrace your route, following the Langtang Khola to Langtang village and on to Ghora Tabela. After lunch you continue the steep descent to Lama Hotel.

You move up a steep path through the forest. An undulating path brings you to this fascinating village of Thulo Syabru where each house is set above its neighbor, in a long line up the very crest of the ridge.

Leaving Thulo Syabru you climb a steep path through forests of oak, fir and rhododendron to the top of a ridge. From here it is only a short descent to Sing Gompa.

You trek downhill all the way to Ghatte Khola (stream) passing a section of forest along with a small village Dimsa. You then trek over a level path along the Ghatte Khola (stream) till Dhunche.
